Any US business on Google Maps.
Callio calls for you.

Find a place in the app, or share one straight from Google Maps, then tell Callio what you need. It calls, works through the phone menu and the hold, asks your questions, and sends back the answer with the full transcript. You never pick up the phone, and your number stays private.

Callio's AI assistant never pretends to be a person. It identifies itself as an AI when asked, and up front on booking calls.

All in on one kind of call

Built for one call. Nothing else.

Most AI phone assistants are demos. Impressive for two minutes, lost on a real phone tree. Callio is built for the phone tree: no settings, no scripts, no agent to train, because calling a business is the only thing it does.

It calls US businesses on Google Maps. That is the whole product. It will not answer your phone or call your mom, and that is the point.

Everything a general phone AI leaves to you, Callio already handles.

Read why Callio only makes one kind of call

How it works

You describe it once. Callio does the rest.

No hold music, no awkward pauses, no menus for you to sit through. Three steps from “I need to call” to “here's what they said.”

  1. 01

    Describe it

Search for the business in Callio — or share a place from Google Maps — then tell Callio what you need in your own words (English, Spanish, or Chinese), or tap a quick action like “Are you open?” or “Any tables tonight?”

  2. 02

    Callio calls

Callio calls the business in English and handles the back-and-forth for you, phone menus included. You don't listen in, you don't wait on hold — and it never pretends to be a person.

  3. 03

    Read the result

Seconds after the call ends, you get a clear summary and the key details (times, prices, availability) in your language, plus the full transcript of the call.

You describe it once. Callio calls and handles the conversation. You get a summary in your language, plus the full transcript of the call.

Who it's for

Built for the way you actually live

Callio is for the everyday calls to local businesses that are hard to make, for very different reasons.

If English calls are stressful

Write what you need in Spanish or Chinese. Callio calls for you in English and brings the answer back in your language.

If you dread the phone

No ringing, no scripts, no being put on the spot. Type the task and let Callio handle the conversation for you.

If you can't use a voice call

For Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and speech-impaired callers, Callio makes calls you couldn't make by phone — entirely in text.

Accessibility

If you're short on time

Let Callio make the call while you get on with your day. Confirm hours, availability, or booking details before you go, in the time it takes to type a sentence.

Questions

Good things to know

What kinds of businesses can Callio call?

Local businesses you'd reach by phone where a real person answers — restaurants, salons, repair shops, and local stores. Callio is built for everyday calls like reservations, availability checks, hours, and prices. If a short phone menu answers first, Callio listens to the options and presses through toward a person. Some numbers don't reach a person at the location you picked, like customer-service hotlines, government lines, and systems that ask for an account number. When Callio recognizes one, it tells you before you call rather than dialing into a dead end.

Is Callio a general-purpose AI assistant?

No. Callio does one thing: it calls a US business you picked on Google Maps and brings back the answer. It does not answer your phone, call personal contacts, or act as a receptionist for a business.

Do I have to set anything up or write a prompt?

No. Pick the business, say what you need in a sentence, and confirm the request Callio shows you before it dials. There is no voice to choose, no script to write and no agent to configure.

Does the business know it's an AI?

Callio's assistant never pretends to be a person. It identifies itself as an AI whenever it's asked, and says so up front on any call where it's making or changing a reservation or appointment on your behalf.

Will my phone number be shared?

On a booking, yes, because they need a way to confirm. Callio gives them the number saved in your profile if they ask for one. The call itself comes from a dedicated Callio line, so your number is never the business's caller ID, and on calls that only ask a question they get no number at all.

What languages does it support?

The app and your summaries are available in English, Spanish, and Chinese. Calls themselves are placed in English: the summary and key details come back in your chosen language, and you also get the full transcript of the call.

Can I hear Callio's voice before I pay?

Yes, free. In the app, Callio Playground places a real call to your own phone: you answer and play the business, and Callio handles the conversation so you hear its real voice. It never uses anything up, and no subscription is needed. Real calls to businesses are Premium.

What if the call doesn't go as planned?

You'll see exactly what happened in the transcript, whether it's a no-answer or a task that needs your input, so you always know where things stand.

Where does Callio work?

Callio calls businesses in the United States. The app is out on both iOS and Android, so you can download it from the App Store or Google Play.
